It's hard to imagine bands like \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Sonic+Youth\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Sonic Youth\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSonic Youth\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Swans\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Swans\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSwans\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, and the whole no wave scene existing without this album setting the stage. There are songs here, but the feel is of a heavy jam session with Ono's improvised vocals adding a primal edge to the proceedings. Although the album may have been poorly received by critics when it was released, its impact is undeniable. Six tracks in all.
