After a couple of full-lengths on \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Sub+Pop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eSub Pop\u003c\/a\u003e, Greene steps out on longtime Lab favorite \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Stones+Throw+Records\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eStones Throw Records\u003c\/a\u003e for his latest full-length as \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Washed+Out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWashed Out\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e. At first, hearing they had signed to Stones Throw was a bit disorienting, but listening to Ernest Greene’s heady and arboreal downtempo beats on \u003cem\u003eMister Mellow\u003c\/em\u003e recalls some of our favorite textures from the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=MoWax\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eMoWax\u003c\/a\u003e label, which isn’t too far off.
