Their last collab (that we know of) under the name \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/products\/rx-strung-out-delroy-edwards-benedek-vinyl-7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRx\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e was a tape hiss-soaked foray into blunted boogie on \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=People%27s+Potential+Unlimited\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003ePPU\u003c\/a\u003e all the way back in 2014; this one lands on \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Long+Island+Electrical+Systems\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eL.I.E.S.\u003c\/a\u003e, proving one of the last decade’s most exciting labels is fully capable of finding new ways to keep it interesting. Benedek’s magic fingaz filtered through Delroy’s inimitable hazy atmosphere, with two of the most enviable synth collections in Los Angeles joining forces make for another total banger. The A1 title cut tells you everything you need to know with its MIDI slap bassline and ultra deep pads, but check the technique on “Check The Technique” for some real sophisticated house music finesse.
