McLaren is noted for saying that he prefers the raw takes of \u003cem\u003eNo Future\u003c\/em\u003e to the officially released versions. They were recorded when \u003cstrong\u003eGlen Matlock\u003c\/strong\u003e still played bass, before \u003cstrong\u003eSteve Jones\u003c\/strong\u003e took over for the recording of the band's Virgin Records release. The majority of these tracks would be re-recorded for \u003ci\u003eNever Mind The Bollocks\u003c\/i\u003e, although they appear under different titles here.
