Impressed by Stein's experience managing the \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Ramones\" title=\"ramones vinyl lp\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRamones\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, the band signed up with Sire. Stein enlisted \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Tommy+Ramone\" title=\"tommy ramone vinyl lp\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTommy Ramone\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e to produce their first release for the label. Their sound moved away from their punk roots during their time at Sire, with Stinson leaving the band by their second album for the label. By the time of their last album, \u003ci\u003eAll Shook Down\u003c\/i\u003e, Westerberg primarily recorded by himself with the help of session musicians. Regardless of the circumstances, the band's output for Sire is well worth exploring.
