Despite its relatively short and little-known participation in scene, The Raincoats are counted as one of the most influential acts to rise out of the British Punk explosion of the '70s, and it is easy to see why. Songs like \"Fairytale in the Supermarket,\" \"No Side to Fall In,\" \"Adventures close to Home,\" \"Black and White,\" and \"Lola\" (a \u003cstrong\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?\u0026amp;q=the%20kinks\u0026amp;filter=Brand\/Manufacturer\/Artist_fq:%22The%20Kinks%22\" title=\"The Kinks Music on Vinyl LP\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eKinks\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e cover) sound as relevant as ever, and the fact that the band didn't subscribe to the fast-paced, aggression-fueled m.o. of its male contemporaries has rendered its work timeless.
