Everything about this record is strange; starting with the fact that a major label released it, and on such a strange format (\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=7-inch+boxset\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e4x 7-inch boxset\u003c\/a\u003e, predating the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=enter+wu-tang+casebook\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e7-inch boxset shark jump\u003c\/a\u003e by more than two decades), down to the awkward name of the project (if you find yourself having a hard time pronouncing both the band name and the name of this record, don’t feel bad, it’s a deliberate troll by \u003cstrong\u003eStephin Merritt\u003c\/strong\u003e, or “every lisper’s nightmare”). This \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Captured+Tracks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eCaptured Tracks\u003c\/a\u003e pressing marks the first time the album is being released on full-length vinyl. CT boss \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Mike+Sniper\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMike Sniper\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e explains: “One of the cool things with owning a record label is sometimes you get to be selfish and put out a reissue just because you want the LP yourself.
