Where that release focused on older material from the accomplished electronic musician, this latest release is composed of completely new material. Originally conceived as part of a commission from a Canary Islands water company, \u003ci\u003eRainworks\u003c\/i\u003e takes its inspiration from a documentary Saiz had seen that suggested water molecules have their own memory; that water is an eternal being, changing its physical state as it travels between the earth and the sky. Saiz worked with his son Emil and pianist \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Raph+Killhertz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRaph Killhertz\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e to create a piece that channeled this metaphysical process into a transportive musical experience. They mixed electronic and acoustic elements, layering resonant piano and guitars to take the listener on a journey through different states of being. Six tracks in all.
