The counterpoint to these inventive synth textures is a generous helping of field recordings sprinkled throughout, which bring the record back down to Earth. Another thing that helped \u003cstrong\u003eSaginaw\u003c\/strong\u003e rise to the top of a heap otherwise populated with Ableton dorks are his jazz bona fides, on full display here and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/products\/shigeto-version-vinyl-12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003estill being embraced a decade later\u003c\/a\u003e.
