Each album is highly approachable and devoid of pretense, executed entirely on their own terms. There’s so much ground covered, from afrobeat and samba to vintage funk and AM soul to golden era rap and Chicago house; it’s safe to say whoever’s involved have spent their lives devouring and mastering these styles. Check out \"Living in America,\" \"Threats\" and \"Friends.\" Bonus points for the mastering which feels lightweight and unoppressive.
