For those unfamiliar (which is probably most of you), \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?q=napoleon+cherry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNapoleon Cherry\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e is an elusive and mysterious Philly musician with a only a couple of private press releases from the late 80's \/ early 90's (under his own name and the \u003cstrong\u003eCool Waters\u003c\/strong\u003e alias). Basically, he is kind of the epitome of outsider DIY funk and R\u0026amp;B with a heavy dose of lo-fi aesthetics. The original pressings of his releases are impossibly rare and expensive, so this compilation from MFM is a blessing. Check \"Clap Your Hands,\" \"Rejuvination,\" \"Know I'm Not the One,\" \"Stay With Me,\" and more.
