The film features a mix of candy-coated (but average) J-Pop and a moody, chilling instrumental score, the latter of which is collected on this LP. “Nightmare” blurs the lines between purposeful instrumentation and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=sacred+bones\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eSacred Bones\u003c\/a\u003e-ish industrial musique concrete, “Mima’s Theme” is theremin and eerie strings. “Virtual Mima” could be a dubbed-out remix of a contemporary \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=bjork\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBjork\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e track, with relentlessly layered eclectic percussion and deft mixing board effects. There’s a “vocal” version as well, which sounds like a lost track from 1996's \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=ghost+in+the+shell\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eGhost In The Shell\u003c\/em\u003e OST\u003c\/a\u003e.
