Absolute epicness seems to have been the call to arms as Gonzalez's synth based tracks seem to reach for the outer edges of the stratosphere. But while they might be stretching for new levels of space exploration, many of the tracks have a retro quality about them. They bring back memories of 80s movies in both structure and timber, with glassy arpeggios providing the momentum.
