Ultimately, they sound \u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003eloud\u003c\/span\u003e, taking clear cues from Japanese noise musicians such as \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=boredoms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBoredoms\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=melt+banana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMelt Banana\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, but the group claims \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=philip+glass\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePhilip Glass\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=sun+ra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSun Ra\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e as major influences. \u003cem\u003eWonderful Rainbow\u003c\/em\u003e is their third album and is considered the group’s most accessible, rugged bass guitar and fierce drumming nearly approaching tunefulness. Pitchfork included \u003cem\u003eWonderful Rainbow\u003c\/em\u003e in their their list of top 200 albums of the 2ks, demonstrating the long-lasting impact of what is a rather left-field record. “Dracula Mountain” is mosquito-buzz guitar countered by sawtooth bass riffs, incomprehensible vocals drowned in the mix. “2 Towers” begins with double-time kick subsumed by shrieking guitar, rolling fills, and overdriven guitar skronk. “Asssassins” is…. almost 4\/4, power-drill basslines and furious congas.
