Let's be honest here though, this could easily be a reissue of some long lost 1962 private press album that should have seen the young man up there with Cooke, Brenton Wood, Smokey... all of em. Alas it is not. 'Coming Home' isn't an attempt at making vintage sounding tunes, it's the real deal. Singles 'Coming Home' and 'Smooth Sailin' are prime examples of where Soul music comes from and I am pretty sure Leon Bridges may have invented time travel.
