A true pioneer of electronic music, Perrey experimented with forward sounds to create his eclectic brand of pop, and \u003ci\u003eMoog Indigo\u003c\/i\u003e, a 1970 album built around the Moog synthesizer, is a prime example. The space funk of the aforementioned \"E.V.A.\" is certainly a standout, but also check out \"Soul City,\" a R\u0026amp;B instrumental where the famed synth takes the place of horns and cruises along with various layers of rhythm and melody. \"Hello Dolly\" is also notable as Perrey inserts plenty of swing and retro-futuristic jazz vibes to the tune, and \"Gossipo Perpetuo\" also attests to the avant-garde vision of the French composer.
