Czukay takes traditional compositional rules and throws them to the wayside, bewildering the listener from the outset with the funky \"Cool In The Pool\". “Oh Lord Give Us More Money” features appearances from most of CAN's members (including god-drummer \u003cstrong\u003eJaki Liebezeit\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eMichael Karoli\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eIrmin Schmidt\u003c\/strong\u003e) and seamlessly shifts from loose and exploratory to tightly-wound in a single measure, much like their prior group work. The song almost feels like a cross between earlier CAN (check \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/products\/can-future-days-free-mp3-vinyl-lp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eFuture Days\u003c\/a\u003e) and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/products\/david-bowie-station-to-station-180g-vinyl-lp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eStation To Station\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e era \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?q=david+bowie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBowie\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e. Throughout the album Czukay paints with sound through editing, pulling from sports announcers, mariachi horns, Korean orchestras, warbling sopranos, and Farsi soundtracks. Blurring boundaries between Germany, Iran, and Africa, this album does not disappoint and has been criminally underrated for too long. Czukay drifts away from the seriousness of CAN and opts for more of a \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Lee+%E2%80%98Scratch%E2%80%99+Perry+\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLee 'Scratch' Perry\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e sort of freedom. 4 tracks in all.
