That's testament to the power of the music, four diverse tunes that are slightly more concise than the usual side-long extravaganzas but no less potent. \"Ye Ye De Smell\" has typically been the selector's choice off this record, a wildebeest of a cut driven by guest stick-wielder Ginger Baker. I've always loved the little vocal intro Fela gives to \"Let's Start,\" it's mellow and crafty, like he knows that in a couple of seconds the band is going to completely wreck shop. And they do.
