On the flip is a cover of country rockers \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Sparklehorse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSparklehorse\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e’s “Cow” from 1995… not something I’d expect \u003cstrong\u003eDIIV\u003c\/strong\u003e to touch but it’s a testament to the objective power of great songwriting. \u003cstrong\u003eSmith\u003c\/strong\u003e \u0026amp; co. largely leave the tune untouched, and their cover rings with all the twang and vulnerability of the original. Both previously appeared on a limited cassette which was given away at a show (now trading hands for upwards of a c-note), and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Captured+Tracks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003eCaptured Tracks\u003c\/a\u003e are treating fans with this limited edition 45 as part of their \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Captured+Tracks+10th+anniversary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e10th anniversary series\u003c\/a\u003e of releases.
