The flip, though, is where it gets hot: \u003cstrong\u003eChristine Lewin\u003c\/strong\u003e’s cover of \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Mtume\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMtume\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e’s “Juicy Fruit” (erroneously credited to \u003cstrong\u003eSusan Cadogan\u003c\/strong\u003e on the center label) is arranged so perfectly, it’s hard to believe this wasn’t a reggae tune to begin with: deep deep bass licks and seriously funky synth stabs punching through \u003cstrong\u003eLewin\u003c\/strong\u003e’s angelic voice.
