Accused of three murders, she died in prison in 1622 before coming to trial. Their music seems to draw on the dark side of paganism and witchcraft while combining a world of electronic music influences. They create soundscapes of droning ambiance that are punctuated by heavy sub-bass and sparse percussion. The rhythms seem to be implied without necessarily being present. \u003ci\u003eForest Of Evil\u003c\/i\u003e, the first in a triptych of LPs from 2010, builds on the sounds and ideas expressed on the duo's debut, \u003ci\u003eSymbiosis\u003c\/i\u003e. Low frequency pulses permeate the record and push the sound into ever darker territory. Layers of sampled drums build and mutate over time, creating the sense that you are on a journey from one end of the record to the other. What comes out on the other side may bear some resemblance to where you started but it's an entirely different world. Truly groundbreaking material. The original pressings sold out quickly and these will too.
