Originally released on London's Starlight records in 1979, little was known about it at the time. \u003cstrong\u003eFantasy Memory\u003c\/strong\u003e was somehow able to figure out that Bunny Lion is the legendary \u003cstrong\u003ePuddy Roots\u003c\/strong\u003e of \u003cstrong\u003eKillamanjaro Soundsystem\u003c\/strong\u003e fame. \u003ci\u003eRed\u003c\/i\u003e features a collection of pristine \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Linvall+Thompson\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLinvall Thompson\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e rhythms with Bunny Lion toasting over the top. Despite the record's obscurity, it's a prime example of the music that was being released as reggae morphed into dancehall. Aside from his own solo work, Thompson was noted for his songwriting and production, as well as a mentoring many up and comers, including \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Junjo+Lawes\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJunjo Lawes\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Scientist+dub\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eScientist\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, and \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Eek-A-Mouse\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eEek-A-Mouse\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e.
