Penning six of the seven cuts, Hutcherson provided a mostly Post \/ Hard Bop sound similar to the work of Herbie Hancock around the same time whom also contributes to the personnel on the album. Hancock of course on piano, Hutch on Vibes, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and the always incredible Joe Chambers on Drums and percussion.
