Seventeen of the remaining songs make up Mermaid Avenue Vol. III, first released by Nonesuch on April 21, 2012, as the third disc of Mermaid Avenue: The Complete Sessions. That box arrived on Record Store Day in the year of Woody Guthrie's centennial, with a DVD of Man in the Sand, the 1999 documentary about the project. Guthrie's lyrics on this volume date from 1939 to 1953. Bragg wrote the music for ten of the seventeen, from 'Bugeye Jim' at the start to 'I'm Out to Get' at the end. Corey Harris wrote the music for 'Gotta Work' and 'Tea Bag Blues,' and 'The Jolly Banker' is the one song here set to a tune by Guthrie himself." - Craft Recordings

180g white colored double vinyl pressing (please note: actual pressing color and packaging may differ from mock-up photo)

limited edition

indie exclusive

original release year: 2012

music label: Craft Recordings 2026

Pre-Order Policy

If you want to order additional items (including other pre-orders), please make separate orders.
