Despite the stellar production and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=Aretha+Franklin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAretha\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e-grade soulfulness oozing throughout, the album was a flop and Clark quit the biz. Some of her songs later became hits in the British \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?type=product\u0026amp;q=northern+soul\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003enorthern soul\u003c\/a\u003e scene, and this LP quickly became a coveted piece.
