James\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, gave us the eleven part \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Analord\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003ci\u003eAnalord\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e series on his own \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?q=Rephlex+Records\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRephlex Records\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e. But he's been on a roll ever since releasing 2014's Grammy winning \u003ci\u003eSyro\u003c\/i\u003e under his main moniker. So it's no surprise that we get a little side dish of \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.turntablelab.mom\/search?q=AFX\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAFX\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e as well. \u003ci\u003eOrphaned Deejay Selek 2006-08\u003c\/i\u003e is split between a heavy does of acidic cuts and more beat oriented material. The names of the tracks seem to reference the gear that was used and almost seem like their working titles. \"Oberheim Blacet1b\" is probably the stand out of the acid bunch. Hyper kinetic rhythms ride along side a constantly transforming 303 line as metallic chords wash in from the shore.
